Questions about the Global Corporate and Institutional Advisory Services (GCIAS) Team at Merrill Lynch

I know the team left a little while ago at this point for an RIA, but I have heard very mixed things about the comp/culture/wlb of a team like this. Does anyone have any insight to what it was like working as an entry level analyst on the corporate side and for the downstream advisors? Also how significantly does the corporate arm of the business help younger FAs gain clients? Heard rumors of young FAs cracking 1MM+ in production in just a few years.
