Rising Senior with 3.3 GPA with 1-2 relevant experiences in WM, am I cooked?
Currently 2026 summer and I'm doing a sales internship, and previously did a WM internship last spring semester. I'm worried that my low GPA (not proud of it, honestly was focused on hobbies and not putting enough time into academics) and relatively low experience in wealth management will not allow me to get a full time offer from any firms for next summer. Should I consider taking a grad year?
I also took some courses in RE and was a college student athlete. I'm planning on doing as many relevant courses I can, network until I can't talk, and hope for the best.
If anyone has any helpful tips then that would be greatly appreciated.
