Timeline and approaches for getting pwm internships over the winter break
Hi everyone,
I am a rising junior and I want to get a pwm intern at a bb local branch over the winter break. How does it work? Should I approach people at those firms and ask directly for jobs or should I network with them first and ask a job later on? I need to get an offer by late September in order to proceed CPT and I am worried it would be too late.
I have also done two internships, one in a small business research company and another in the middle office of a big non-US commercial bank. Is it possible to leverage these and get a pwm intern job that is beyond finding clients through cold calling?
Thanks in advance!
