UBS PWM vs No Name IB (Fall Internship)
Hey all,
I am a rising sophomore (target school) currently trying to choose a part-time internship for this upcoming fall semester in New York. I have to choose between UBS PWM and a no name IB – which should I choose? Over the summer I worked in the M&A Tax services group at a Big 4 firm. Would really appreciate any insight.
I'd take the IB if that is your end goal. Any insights on their deal flow etc?
Just got an email back so now there are two IB firms – I've heard that for one, deal flow is solid but the deals themselves are tiny (more of a business broker). Don't know much about the other one but they're focused on early-stage fintech companies
Would 100% do the IB with the solid deal flow. Having transaction experience as opposed to cold calling is great. Congrats
