Wealth Management Global Markets To IB?

Essentially I was offered a role at a BB firm in NYC in the Capital Markets Group in their WM division as a summer analyst. The pay is on par with what I expected so I accepted. My question would be this: I ideally want to be moving into an Investment Banking role as a full time analyst after college. Is this possible? It is a major firm on the street and I believe that could hold some weight. However, I understand the move from WM to IB is very tough without knowing anyone. Does the fact that I would be in Capital Markets increase my chances?

Thanks
