2 networking related questions - weird situation?
1) Associate offered to review my resume/critique it at my top firm of choice-> asked if I have an interview/when resume drop is -> I said I already applied haven’t heard from HR but if I do, I will be prepared since I have a few other interviews at other banks this and next week ->
Did I make a mistake in mentioning my other interviews? Will they think they are now wasting their time in helping me with my resume?
2) Associate at another firm was super friendly when we first met – gave me their business card and told me to keep in touch.... acted like my friend and even dropped by resume to HR after talking to me for just 10 min or so. Well something shifted, not sure what as I saw them again a few weeks later for a corporate event. They acted super professional, sort of stiff and business like instead of being relaxed and casual with me as before. I just emailed them to ask about meeting up so I can go over some interview questions but it seemed like he/she didn’t want to but offered a phone conversation instead.
I made a great first impression, and was consistent with my image/behavior. Don’t know what happened that they went from being themselves to “having a wall”.
What are your thoughts?

You probably weren't as diplomatic as you could've been. That said, send your CV straight away, and once you get feedback don't let the contact dry up, i.e. ask for a phonecall, coffee, whatever to ask further questions about the firm and their impressions of you.
They were probably drunk the first time. Quit worrying about it, nail the phonecall.
But what if I already know everything about the firm? I mean, I have been invited to many recruiting events and gotten to know a lot of people. At this point, I think I know everything there is to know about the firm.
Good idea to ask them to just hang out? Like say, invite them to your birthday party?
When I get his feedback would it come across as desperate to say something like "blah blah blahh... hopefully I'll hear from HR soon, it would be an amazing opportunity to work with you guys" etc?/
