Heard it was an insane bake-off... As usual, Tobin & Co managed to come out on top
JPM and BarCap but not sure if it should really be considered an “energy” deal
Agreed, I just added it to the title because that's what was in the WSJ article
Nomura and CS advised 7-11 Barclays advised Marathon.
Edit: Who threw MS at me? I guess I forgot to include JPM as an advisor to the transaction committee of the board. Barclays was lead advisor
and CS and SMBC syndicated debt
I’m curious if anyone knows which coverage groups were involved at JPM and Bar Cap? Would this still fall under their energy coverage group?
This was the Barclays NY Nat Res team, not sure about the JPM team.
