Accepted at IE (MIF & Dual Degree MIM + MIF) - Pending interview from LBS & HEC

Hi peeps!

So i'm in a tricky situation: I've just been admitted at IE for their MIF and for their dual degree MIM+MIF.
I have to give them an answer by May 20th. It's tricky because I also applied to HEC & LBS and their interview decision is pending.
Here's my profile:
- Graduated with Honours from a B-School (Top 10%)
- 6 months internship in real estate finance at a global top consulting firm; 1 year internship at a global wealth management firm
- GMAT: 650
- Career goal: Top IB firm in Europe, then switch to a PE house

Any clue on what I should do? Also, does the higher recognition of HEC & LBS really make a difference when it comes to securing a job at a top IB upon graduation? Any input from you guys is appreciated!

Have you tried contacting LBS / HEC, explaining your situation and asking for an expedited decision? And have you tried asking IE for an extension?

IE is a good school and regularly sends people into banking. But LBS and HEC are much stronger names and will help you out a lot more with recruiting. If the financial cost isn't too high to bear, I would consider accepting IE on the day of the deadline (assuming you haven't heard a response from the other schools), and then reneging in case you receive an offer from the other schools.

A few points to think about: i) Spending a year at a place like LBS will easily set you back £50,000+, assuming you don't have any scholarships. So the EUR 5,000 lost to IE will be a relatively small proportion of the overall expense of your studies ii) If you get into banking, your signing bonus will be higher than the EUR 5,000 you lose on the enrollment fee for IE

I am applying to the MIF of HEC and LBS in November. Could you give me some informations regarding the interview process? I am graduating for a top french B-school with 18 months of experience in some great companies.

Thanks in advance
