Almost got jumped near East Hampton, where do I avoid this

Hi everyone.

I'm new to the hamptons, and I almost got jumped by 3 upper-middle class looking characters and their two Chihuahuas because I wouldn't stop calling them proles. They got real close, but someone stepped up and let me into their Ferrari. One of their dogs licked me.

Is there an area out east that completely avoids people with under $1MM networth? I am willing to pay up to $22,000 a month to get away from this once and for all.

You gotta get a house on Ocean Ave, but those run about 100K / month.

Good luck bud

Never been a fan of the Hamptons. Personally if I am going to travel 2 hours out of the city I much prefer to be in Bermuda. Sandy beaches and tranquility and not having to deal with the obnoxious NY crowds.

Too late for second-guessing Too late to go back to sleep.

Actually, the Hamptons have always had tons of upper-middle class people. If anything, the money moving in there has gotten completely insane over more recent history.

Many of the old timers in what is nowadays considered the Hamptons were farmers and lower middle class blue collar workers. It is pity to see what used to be prime farmlands being turned into tack McMansions for people with much more money than taste. Also it is absurd how those waterfront mansions openly block public access to the beaches and the ocean. I thought NYS was supposed to be a liberal state.

This is a brilliant troll, but I think a mod note is appropriate when a troll post is put on the front page. (EG Mod Note: This could be a funny troll. )

I feel about as startled and confused as I did when I read "Non target to (former) I-Bank CEO AMA".

Back to my prole Honda.

You're a little confused, because that wasn't an AMA. It was just an attempt to tell the truth after so many lies had been written. See for yourself:
