am i screwed or what

I've taken the semester off due to mental health issues (family member passed away). But, I'm starting to feel better and want to get into recruiting again. I would have been a junior had I stayed in school, but now I'm considered class of 2020.

I've haven't sent in my resume anywhere yet - is it too late for me to go into recruiting?
Any advice on how to explain this gap semester in interviews for places where I had already sent in my resume?

I bet you have one month left before it's over. Most boutiques are wrapped up. For BB you still have a chance if you can make someone pass your resume, get first round within few weeks. Much harder but not impossible i guess.
