Any places still accepting apps for internships?
I've already been rejected by most of the big banks. Does anyone know of any middle markets or boutiques that are still accepting applications for internships this summer?

I don't know if places are still looking at apps submitted online, but I'm sure some boutiques would consider your app if you called and spoke to them in person
Yes, http://www.vault.com/nr/finance_rankings/finance_rankings.jsp?finance20… Try banks outside of the top 20. Most will accept until early February, although very few of these banks are taking on many interns. How have you been rejected already? I know at MIT most banks haven't even begun offering 1st round interviews yet; it's expected in the next week or so though.
All of the banks declined to interview me for first round on campus recruiting. I have a 3.7 at an ivy league school with a sophomore internship at a boutique, good extracurriculars, etc. I was expecting first rounds everywhere. I'm kind of freaking out.
May I ask what major/school? Not getting a first round is indeed shocking.
I understand. I'm facing the same sort of situation although I did receive some interviews (I come from a non-target). I did an internship with a Bulge Bracket S&T program in my sophomore year and I had a job racked up at this point in time last year. I have better credentials than I did one year ago, but am still finding a crazy hard time. I think banks are very serious about recruiting in small numbers this year. I guess it's time for a career change.
Summer recruiting is brutal at my school as well. One bank only took 6 people to interview in the first round.
yeah some banks at my school did phone screenings (casual 1st yr analyst calls) to choose who to give 1st round interviews to. harsh
