average GPAs of bulge bracket IBD classes?
excluding those who got in through networking or who majored in engineering, what are the average GPAs at the bulge brackets? Do they differ between GS and UBS?
I was thinking 3.7 to 3.8 or so depending on school
4.99999999
Clearly, it's over 9000.
Probably pretty similar, and probably around 3.6ish as the average. My not-so-accurate method of guesstimating:
-Don't take a helluva lot of 4.0 students -Don't take a helluva lot of sub-3.3 students -Difference between UBS and GS is probably close to non-existent, most people probably apply to both. Some 4.0 student will get rejected from GS and get offers at UBS, and vice versa, same with the 3.0 students.
Not aiming for real accuracy here, just my best guess
Disagree, GS is more of a GPA whore and if you get an offer from both, you will probably go to GS (especially if you got an offer for UBS's Stamford office; that's why they're thinking about leaving Stamford)
Didn't read the excluding part... why the hell would you exclude those people? They're obviously formidable opponents
I didn't mean to say that UBS takes people with higher GPA, sorry, just that some people will get rejected from GS and take a UBS offer and some people will get rejected from UBS and take a GS offer
Id say about tree fiddy
^lol that made my day. For once, tree fiddy's actually the right answer
just ran my numbers and got approx 3.5729523
someone correct me if I'm wrong.
Did you leave out UBS?
No, he ran GS twice or else you get 3.5699432
3.64
