Background Check - Pending Charges

So I've accepted an internship offer in S&T with a BB and I need to complete a background check. I have some pending charges for something I did a few months ago (after I'd gotten the offer). Don't want to go into too much detail but the situation I was in made it look like I was doing something a lot worse than I was and I ended up getting charged with a misdemeanor and a felony. These should eventually get dropped but theres no way it will happen before the background check (I haven't even had a preliminary hearing yet). Charges are not drug-related if that matters.

So my question is, will a bank rescind the offer for something that is pending?

Alright thanks for the feedback. Anyone have any advice or perhaps a similar experience? I'd like to reiterate that the charges will in all likelihood be dropped but not in time for the background check.

Yeah I didn't do the felony though and it will probably be dropped at my preliminary hearing. I have a lawyer but there isn't much he can do right now because I haven't even had the preliminary hearing. I could be wrong but I don't think you can expunge things that you haven't been convicted of.
