Berenberg International Grad
Hey guys, I want to apply to Berenberg for the graduate programme but I don't really understand the options. I'm interested in M&A - IB but the options/rotations their graduate programme offers are Equity Research, Sales, (Sales-)Trading, Corporate Finance, Wealth and Asset Management and Corporate Banking with literally no explanations of what each role entails. Since I'm seeing no IB division, I'm suspecting that M&A is hidden under possibly the CF team but wanted to hear if anyone has any insight?
Thanks.
You're right, many firms use the term "corporate finance" to refer to their advisory activities
Yes, their Corporate Finance includes M&A, ECM, DCM. On their website they call it IB but on the career prospectus it’s CF.
They do not do M&A, maybe handful of small cap deals. If youre interested in IB they only really do MM ECM
Anyone can say something about their experience please? Esp for their IB division (M&A, ECM, DCM)
Would not recommend, bad experience.
why, can you elaborate?
