Cole haan cap toe oxfords 109$ at saks off fifth. Mangianni are pretty nice IMO. Not sure how much Allen Edmonds Park Avenue go for rn but those are worth looking at.
like $425 but you can often find ones with minor (usually unnoticeable) flaws for about 200 at stores that carry their regular products.
AE just had a sale with Fifth Avenue for $250 and Park Avenue for $350.
I used to have a couple pairs of these and beat them into the ground. Great value.
Meermin if you don't mind long break-in time.
how did you find the shoe in person when it arrived?
I bought it at Soho in-person.
New Republic dress shoes for $100. I have a pair of their wingtips. Leather isn't great, but they are fine for kicking around daily wear.
For $150, you’re better buying a pair of Nikes and telling everyone you just had foot surgery on both feet.
Used Allen Edmond Park Aves. If you can spend a bit more, you can get some on shoebank.com with very minor defects that are virtually new.

Cole Haan outlet stores are the best for this budget, imo.

would def check the allen edmond clearance section. big discounts there
..
johnston and murphys website. nice looking shoes, great price
Would actually not go too cheap on shoes. It's one of those penny wise, pound foolish decisions. I got a pair of Johnson Murphies six years ago for ~$250. Took good care of them and am wearing them right now. That's ~$40 per year for really good shoes.
Quality dress shoes can last a long time if you take care of them and the better shoes end up being much much cheaper in the long run.
