best IB tips for analysts?

I’m a first year analyst and I would really appreciate your tips on how two things: first how to develop myself, especially technically in terms of skills like ppt and excel and second how do I establish myself in the team? I am not very outspoken and I find that I have coworkers who get recognized just because they put themselves out there and speak up all the time.
I am not the type to ever talk about how busy I am or what I did.
Yesterday I went home 5am and today Im the first one in the office and noone knows except my associate.
