My only gripe with those is that I feel like they're pretty difficult to maneuver...I have trouble writing in them unless I'm literally sitting down and have a free hand to press it against a surface because their spines are so rigid. Tbh I don't think there's anything wrong with those black ringed notebooks we used in school.

 

Yeah I agree that gets annoying when writing for a while. For us summer analysts, we just used the free notebooks that you could find in the supply room, but mainly those notepads that tear at the top. Stacks of them available to use and simple to tear out. Some of the summer associates and associates also used those. Why spend money when you have so many available
