Billions: Season Finale Thoughts

I understand being upset Taylor set up their own shop... but contemplating killing them for it... seems a bit much. Thoughts?

Also, the thought that a Russian billionaire like Grigor Andolov would bother to learn the proper pronouns to address Taylor seems like a stretch.

The back half of this season was certainly not the best. They way things played out in the first half with Chuck and Axe ultimately teaming up to get the case thrown out and protect Wendy was pretty fascinating considering the first two seasons were focused on them being mortal enemies. However, the direction of the back half of the season with Chuck giving up his bid for Governor to take down Jock Jeffcoat and Axe fucking over Taylor to complete his large cap raise seemed overly contrived to get Chuck and Axe working together again. I thought that last shot of Chuck, Axe and Wendy plotting around the table in the dimly lit room was super cheesy. This show was originally about two brilliant strategists attempting to outmaneuver one another. The idea that Chuck and Axe are going to help each other take down their respective "enemies" when neither has any beef with the other's counterpart is a bit silly.
