In light of the recent BMO layoff news and slight decline in performance, I was wondering if anyone has successfully got in. I know quite a few people who have been indefinitely put on hold, even some who were directly recruited. Can someone shed some light on this?

Some recruiter had reached out in the past 2 weeks with a BMO opportunity...
There is no question that they are interviewing, but I have yet to hear about recent FT hires. If you don't mind me asking, what kind of position was it?

I don't think the layoffs will have an effect on IBD recruitment. From what I've read, layoffs have come due to bad O&G loans and shifting some of their banking operations online.
