Bocconi and COVID-led deferrals

I have recently been accepted at Bocconi's MiF and am considering asking for a deferral, partly due to the coronavirus. The opportunity to study at Bocconi is something I have dreamt of for a while, and I'm willing to postpone my dream for another year if that means I get to do it properly. I am as interested in the personal and networking experience as the academic and therefore am not too thrilled to be spending a large amount of time having online classes stuck in my room. Before the outbreak, I had already considered waiting for another year before enrolling as I am really enjoying my current job and feel another year of experience would be beneficial.

I have not found much information on the matter, and therefore turn to you guys. What would you say my chances of seeing my request granted are? Admittedly, I'm not too hopeful. Additionally, how do you think I should justify my request? Should I say COVID is holding me back (as it is for everyone else), or do you think I'm more likely to be successful if I invoke my initial reasoning for deferring: my desire to gain more experience.

Finally, I have been awarded a 50% tuition waiver. If I did manage to postpone, do you think I could carry that over to next year or would I even be allowed to apply for one separately. Should my request be rejected and I decide to forgo enrolling, what would you say my chances of getting accepted next year would be?
