Because of the way this thread unfolded, I will never be answering another WashU coffee chat request

I hate to entertain these topics because it just turns into a shit-flinging fest but a very close friend of mine is graduating from there this year. Having talked intimately about our recruiting and etc., I think IB from there is still an uphill battle compared to more traditional targets and I think it’s disingenuous to claim otherwise. Best placements are very very diversity heavy. Great school and great people from my interactions though.

I don’t know why this became such a dick measuring contest but you’re right. Diversity=guranteed ib at Washu whilst others work for it more compared to normal targets. We have been improving tho and that’s what I wanted to state. Bless.

there’s literally 50 kids that go for ib at Washu

as in 50 actively recruit (full hardo), 50 in total at least attempt (varying levels of hardo) to recruit, or 50 end up FT

Tbh less. There’s only 150-200 kids in Olin and consulting is more popular. It’s about 70-50. And every diversity kid gets an offer so the 15 that don’t are non-diversity.

Lots of unhelpful numbers here, but my close friends are involved in WUIB which is the banking club/pipeline and based on what they’ve said:

This year, there were ~7 GS offers, 4-5 GUGG, handful of Jeffries, and a collection of other offers

Two years ago, 5 EVR, 1 LAZ, 1 CVP, 1 PJT, handful of GUGG, handful of HL, 1-2 PWP, one MOE, bunch BB

Hi guys help me deciding between WashU and unc for bsba. I am international student and please suggest what second major should I take to become STEM designate. I am looking for a carrier in IB and where can I have the opportunity for maximum internship
