BofA TMT - Underdogs?

I keep reading multiple opinions on this group but nobody seems to really have a clear idea of what’s going on with them. A lot of people shit on them cause they are not MS tech or GS TMT but their deal volume is substantially higher than both of them right now.
BofA tmt recently advised in one of the biggest M&A all stock deals of 2020 in the tech sector alongside MS (Analog Devices bought Maxim Integrated for $21M)
They have also been recently expanding their group like crazy and hiring multiple MD’s from GS and Citi that were all rainmakers.
I’ve seen a couple of them exit to Golden Gate, Pegasus VC, Thoma Bravo and multiple tech growth equity funds.
I know they are divided between coverage and M&A but both groups seem to be exiting quite well at least in the West Coast.
If you had a offer here would you take it or would you try to go for GS ir MS or even try for the tech EB’s? Is it really that harder to exit well from BofA TMT?

a lot of analysts in recent years have chosen not to recruit (personal preference) but of those that have, General Atlantic and TPG are two that I immediately know

Great culture with new group head that joined a couple years ago who is focused on making sure analysts get full technical experience even though there is M&A group
