All of the Boston PE firms hire associates from IB (at least to some extent). There are several very consultant friendly shops (all probably average around 40-50% MBB, if not higher): Advent, Bain, Berkshire, Charlesbank. All great firms. Possible to break into coming from IB but it will be a bit harder given the pool of candidates that you are competing with.

More banking friendly firms (UMM/MM buyout): THL, Audax, ABRY

Other MM (not as sure about IB/MBB split): Parthenon, Cove Hill, AVALT, HIG (HQ in Miami but have offices in Boston, SF, NYC, etc.)

Growth / Growth-Buyout: TA (large cap), Summit, Great Hill

Other Growth: Providence Growth (buyout is in Providence), Spectrum Equity, Guidepost Growth Equity

Other funds: Windjammer, Riverside Partners, many more that I'm probably missing.
