Boston Power Brokers (Investment Sales)
I've expanded my investment sales job search to include Boston. I was wondering which brokers everyone thinks is a "Power Broker" in the Boston area for investment sales (excluding leasing). I know, I know, I already googled it (http://costarpowerbrokers.com/power-broker-award-…). I've spoken with many analysts and a few VPs in the area. After talking with them, here is my conclusion in alphabetical order:
Power Brokers
CBRE NE (Butler, St. John)
Colliers
C&W
Eastdil Secured (McCaffrey)
HFF (Benedict,Cassum)
JLL (Petz)
M&M
NAI
NGKF (Griffin)
Transwestern
I realize it depends on product type when discussing "Firm A does more volume than Firm B in Boston". It's easy to find national sales for each of these firms (http://www.nreionline.com/brokerage/2016-top-brok…), but difficult to find on a city-by-city basis.
Does anyone have any opinions/info on the Boston market in terms of investment sales? Good or bad experiences will be helpful to me in my search.
