Breaking Back In
I graduated from a big ten school back in 2017 and immediately went to work as an analyst at a smaller boutique in the Northeastern US. I’ll spare you all of the details, but I ended up leaving at around the 1 year mark to come back home and take care of rather important family business. I’ve been working as a financial analyst for a local non-profit for the last year and a half. Admittedly, it’s not an impressive job but I did what I needed to in order to get closer to family, which was important at the time. Now, things have settled down and I’m wondering about my prospects and if it might be possible at all for me to break back in. On paper, my career trajectory this far makes no sense at all and the place I worked at wasn’t particularly well known but I did get good experience and was a high performing analyst while I was there. I’m just weighing my options at this point but if it’s possible, I want move quickly so what do you guys think? Is this possible or am I exiled forever?
Bumping
Bump, hope it’s possible for you to get back, I don’t see why it wouldn’t be if you were getting good experience
