You can. Go to your profile and hit "View" next to your banana points. There's a list of where you get points from. Anything that awards +3 points is SB, -1 is MS (or if you SB/MSed someone else). You can click on the link to be directed to the page/post where it happened.

If anything, we should be able to SEE who did it.
I'd like to know this as well. Given that I'm a vindictive SOB, it would probably be really bad. Yeah, ok, nevermind, I'm better off not knowing.
Get busy living

I would think that this would also discourage people from freely SB-ing/MS-ing.... can't see this being implemented as it kind of defeats the purpose of a rating/voting system.

I think you can see them. Go to your points history, and it shows the user # of the person who threw the MS/SB. If it was user number 123456, for example, I would go to this address: //www.wallstreetoasis.com/user/123456. That reveals the person. For me, half the time it requires me to log in for access, which leads me to believe the mods are the ones who throw most MS/SBs, but no surprise there given WSO's trend towards total 1984 communism.

can we know for which post we are awarded silver banana/thrown monkey shit at
But what's the use of getting such silver bananas? Is it going to help us with more reputation or money. Sorry for being ignorant.

Bloody weird. Conspiracy !! I looked at my last 10 ish monkey shits. every single one was from a random user with no Banana points, had never posted, and seemingly created the account solely to shit on me. (The account numbers are also right after another ie 73590 then 73589 then 73588 73587 73586 73585 73584 for instance - all actual accounts that monkey shitted me in the space of a few minutes indicating its the same person that's like a third of my monkey shits !). Dito with 71877 and 71876 back to back. 43070 43069 43068 all back to back. Can someone please look into this ? Someone is messing up my monkey shit / silver banana ratio !! You should be able to monkey shit until you have 50 posts.

Damn, someone must have had an extreme dislike for you and a lot of time on their hands to waste...

It goes on:

36661 36535 36529 36528 36199 36023 35986 35773 32872 32871 32589

I have received precisely 1 monkey shit from what I think is a legitimate user. All the rest are from dummy accounts. I went 12 pages deep cant be bothered to go further but this is 22 out of 30 monkey shits total. The proof is in the pudding. Run them all yourself:

http://www.wallstreetoasis.com/user/32589

I think its abuse of the system, not a mod as a mod wouldn't monkey shit my resume post for instance. A lot of my monkey shits leave me scratching my head as to why i received them. And if it was a mod they could just award themselves with a 1000 credits instead of going through the trouble of creating numerous accounts. Can a mod look into this ??? (And reinstate my monkey shit count to what it should be - 1).
