Can you 'wing' a case interview
Realistically, if you are interviewing for IB, S&T, AM, Consulting, and Tech all at the same time, and do not have enough time to methodically study case interviews... could you wing a case interview by virtue of being analytical/mathematically capable... or do you have to follow certain frameworks?
For competitive roles, it's apparent who has prepared and who hasn't.
sure, if you dont want the job.
There was a McKinsey video back in the day where they interviewed current analysts, and one of the analysts said "I didn't even know about case interviews till I was in the room!"
Lol I think I saw that, and another one where an Art History major from Yale got the job even after admitting that she didn't know what management consulting was. She was hot tho
