Does anyone know anything about the real estate arm of Cantor Fitzgerald? I understand that they recently launched a few non-listed REITs and have been trying to branch out into the investment management business. What are peoples thoughts? What is the reputation of Cantor in the RE World?
They're better known for their sister company Newmark Knight Frank formerly Newmark Grubb Knight Frank.
They're a pretty well respected but have been taking a hit recently due to risk retention. Absolute sweat shop but decent exit opps and IB pay. They're consistently ranked on cmalert

They are the #1 or #2 player in the DST market right now. People who work in that group are making a killing right now. They are active in a lot of different areas of RE so your experience would probably vary greatly from one group to another.
