Case Western thoughts
Graduated from Case Western a couple years ago. Wanted to know if the general view of Case is improving. Still very non-target?

Graduated from another Ohio school. Keybanc recruits on campus at Case, but have seen a lot of Case students head to Chicago (Blair, Houlihan, etc). Wouldn’t call it a non-target, but also wouldn’t call it a semi-target. Plenty of boutique and KeyBanc MDs in Cleveland went to Case for MBA or undergrad as well so that helps.
Current student at Case. We are a target for KeyBanc, BGL, and the local boutiques in Cleveland, but a non-target for all other banks. The user above is correct that students have recently placed into larger MMs (Baird, Blair, Piper, and Wells Fargo); but those students are the exception, definitely not the norm. A few alum have lateraled to brands like HL and Guggenheim, but there is no OCR other than Key. A large part of this is the fact that not many students are interested in banking, so there’s not going to be a huge alumni base accessible to students. I’d say we’re still a non-target, especially for BBs and EBs, but with adequate networking and preparation, MMs are attainable
