Chances of starting full time in December
I’m interning at an investment bank think (EVR/LAZ/PWP/CWP) this summer. If I’m graduating in December, what are the chances of them letting me start full time in December if I’m offered full time? Is this even possible, do you know anyone that’s done it? Thanks
It completely depends on your firm and their need for labor - when you get an offer ask them then and make it clear that you want to start early.
Was a Dec grad and my group at my BB didn't want me to start early but another friend of mine graduated early and her group (at the same BB) wanted her to start early. So it will all depend.
Thank you!
No problem!
Interested as well ... I am interning at a BB this summer, and graduated in April, so ideally would like to start right away in September if I am offered a return. I made this clear during all interview rounds and they seemed to be on board.
That's def a different circumstance... does your group know about the situation?
HR, the two associates I interviewed with in the first round, and the two MDs I interviewed with in the second round, know that I have graduated and am available to continue working past the internship in September.
I thought to be eligible for an internship, you needed to have at least a semester left after the internship.
