I'm gonna come and not announce my presence and lurk in the shadows and try to guess who's who.

But really though. I'm coming.

also, that's what she said

I won't be able to make this one. Let's do it again in a couple months?

Sweetwater is a lot nicer than Galway Hooker. It's in a great location and tons of space. Pretty popular hangout spot for the Booth students.

What is the parking situation at this place? If the weather cooperates I am thinking of driving down from Milwaukee.

Street Parking is a moderate challenge and costs $6.00/hour, but is doable, especially on the lower level.

If in doubt you can park in the Aon Center Garage which is one block east. It's $6 all night if you get there by 6PM, otherwise $13. Give yourself plenty of time to get there as you'll need to find Lower Columbus Drive and Lakeshore East can be a bit confusing. (To make it easy, get off at Ohio and take Fairbanks/Columbus Dr south from Ohio until you go over the bridge and under the underpass.)

Reservations are in (albeit for a small table to gather around)- see you all tomorrow.

I hope the weather doesn't get you guys down! Chicago is basically Siberia for half the year, but as Nietzsche said, "whatever doesn't kill you will make you stronger."

Thanks for setting it up again, Illini. Was good to meet everyone - and again was pleasantly surprised by the attendance (20+?). Even 1 female!

Will happily attend next time

Shout out to @IlliniProgrammer for setting it up. I met a lot of cool people last night, plus the one female that showed. Probably 1 more than any NY/LA sausage meet up, so there.

Let's do this again, regularly. I'm looking forward to meeting you all and more next time.

Great times. Jw131985 braved rush hour traffic to drive down here from Milwaukee. Also had a lot of fun chatting with Onemanwolfpack, Cries, lots of trading, HF and PE people, including meeting a trader from my firm out of the blue, and students from UIC, DePaul, and UChicago.

We will have to do this again. If I don't hear from anyone or if Cries does not beat me to it, the next one will probably be in early January, around the same time on a Thursday, somewhere between LaSalle, Michigan, Congress and the River.

Why you gotta call me out? :(

Now I feel obligated to set one up in Dec [and then be disappointed when nobody shows].
