Consulting case prep with Ex-BCG consultant

Hi Team,

I am an ex-BCG consultant; I was fairly active on this forum 2 years back during recruiting, but then never visited after and hence the new profile. I worked at BCG for ~2 years (post MBA/PhD), really enjoyed the job but it was fairly hectic (70+ hrs, travel, etc).

Recently I took up another consulting gig--with better life-style balance--and have some free time on my hand. I want to use this time coaching students preparing for case interviews and was thinking of offering 1-on-1 (or small group) classes

I know other forums like preplounge exists--but I'm visualizing a different coaching model

  • I want to work with a small group of students and have many touch points over spring/ summer

  • My coaching could be most beneficial to students who are just starting or struggling to structure, if you're are a seasoned vet and can case with ease, I don't know if I can add a lot of value besides doing a case or two

  • My availability is limited to ~15 hrs/ week and I am NYC-based

This is all work in progress, just wanted to share some thoughts and gauge interest. Work is a bit slow d/t Corona.

Reply/ PM me if anyone is interested, or have any ideas on how I can go about this. Thanks!
