Corp Dev after post-MBA PE?

Hi All - Currently a post-MBA VP in private equity and have a lead on an opportunity in corporate development (M&A + fundraising + general strategy) at a relatively large VC-backed company. Title is TBD but it's a small team with a group head (C-level or just outside), mid-senior level (where I'd slot in) and an analyst or two. I'm sure these are pretty idiosyncratic positions but anyone have a sense for comp, lifestyle, etc. in a role like this?
