Oh boy, you're gonna have to learn what Proof of Stake is if you want to understand the current crypto world.

DOT: incoming supply shock due to parachain auctions, 2-3x expected over 1-1.5 years

XTZ: insane institutional adoption (no. 2 after ETH), expected +10x depending on the Tezos Foundation marketing plan. Time horizon 2-3 years.

GRT: potential to become a top 10 coin, recent implementation of DOT ecosystem -> 20x-30x over 5 years.

XCM: future BNB, the closest you can get to an equity investment into the crypto exchange Coinmetro

Solana is unironically doomed. Its network literally broke because it handled too many transactions, it is heavily centralized and the only reason it reached the top 10 is because Sam Bankman-Fried pumped the price. Hell, even ETH has more potential than SOL.

Alright so why the FUCK would I ever use crypto over my credit card, unless I'm doing some illegal shit like buying drugs or dodging taxes?

With that said - there is obviously lots of money to be made in the pump and dumps. Which broker do y'all use? I want the easiest and most streamlined platform, not trying to have 5 different websites/wallets/hash keys or whatever the fuck y'all are doingΒ

I use Coinbase mainly. I've used Kraken as well.Β

I find it quite hilarious that people consider crypo worthless while investing in stocks at the same time. Do you expect Google to be paying dividends any time soon? Meanwhile, even someone having a basic investment in ETH can earn 30% APY through yield farming (I'm not even talking about capital appreciation).

Ive been talking about Harmony One since it was at 4 cents. it's now at .35. Every person who doesn't know about this gem I assume is illiterateΒ

I've gone down the crypto rabbit hole in the last month, and now I'm balls deep in $SPELL, $TIME, $ICE, $SMRT, and $GRIM.Β

For anyone who think crypto is simply speculative assets, think again. Real, sustainable, productive uses are being built and every day since going down the rabbit hole I feel I am watching the new financial system being built in front of my eyes.

Generally speaking, purely from a ROI perspective, altcoins when measured from bottom to peak will outpace the more mainstream coins like BTC, ETH by multitudes. The caveat is that this gap is incredibly hard to time (if you look at 2017, BTC will outpace a lot of alts for 11.5 months then out of nowhere, alts spike 20x+ in 2 weeks) e.g. Ripple (XRP) did like a 36000% yearly return vs BTC's "measly" 1300%.Β

Even though there's over 14k+ crypto projects now, with most of them probably scams/vaporware, you can loosely categorize into separate categories (note these are just arbitrary groupings I made, nothing close to official): In ranking from "safest", low returns to riskiest, highest returns" 1.) BTC, ETH, 2. "Blue Chips" such as ADA, DOT, 3. Up & coming close to bluechips (MATIC, AVAX, LUNA, FTM), 4. Speculative plays (LRC, GRT, QNT, etc), and then 5. Completely boom or bust ones that include memecoins (SHIB, ELON, etc). I put a couple of these in category 5 even though they're top 10 by marketcap just cause of its speculative nature and no other real use case. Pick your poison. I do generally advise people that having exposure to at least the first two categories is recommended, even if you wanna get highly degen speculative with the other ones. I will also say that most of the times at least in the short - medium term, fundamentals are irrelevant so even scammy coins will pump. If your name of the game is purely to make money, there's nothing wrong with buying scammy projects if you have conviction of a quick flip.Β

On a side note, LTC is so outdated and doesn't offer much. Not saying it's a scam, but why people continue to buy it (besides perhaps old school legacy and legitimacy) is beyond me. For what it's worth, it does offer good setups vs BTC from a technicals perspective at times but you'd be hard pressed to find anyone that can advocate it because of its tech or anything else really.Β

Thanks for this.Β  So far I kept my port very simple - Bitcoin / Eth / AVAX / Solana, but I'm willing to venture into some shitcoin.Β  Trying to read up stuff but find it hard to look for good resources besides random twitter influencer or reddit.Β  Any recommendations for finding the next AVAX / Solana?
