CUNY Baruch MS Finance for quick rebrand

Hi all,

I need to rebrand, and going the MBA route doesn't seem logical for me.

My background is a business management degree from a non target with a sub 3 gpa. The cost of the program can be paid out of pocket and completed in about a year part time.

Considering this, is this program a worthwhile endeavor in your opinion? I think that it gives me a chance focus on finance and deflect some attention away from the undergrad gpa.

The program is new so not placement information yet. That being said, Baruch is a good school in the NYC area and there are a ton of alumni on the street. I think it would be a good option for the younger professional. Also check out Rochester. They have both an MSF and a Masters in Management. Both in the city and both allow you to keep working.
