Anyone know how the internship process works at C&W? I went to apply and there is no role description. Do you apply then get placed in a particular role? Is it completely random?

Its probably a research position.
You'll be pulling titles, running corporate searches, doing lease/sale comps, looking through availabilities, doing research on tenants, and assisting in gathering information for the research reports.
This is accurate. I just finished a internship at a comparable firm and it was basically just research on assets. Typically you end up working in a specific asset class which can make you more valuable. Also might end up going out to canvas buildings which is interesting as you get a feel for different properties.
