DDR Corp.

Does anyone have any experience working at or with DDR Corp.? Or have any insights?

I just recently had a phone interview for the financial analyst position in NYC. To be honest, from what I read online about the firm it doesn't sound too great and I'm not very interested in the position. Their executive team has switched a few times over the past year or so. Read on glassdoor that most positions are underpaid and that there is a lot of turnover in the company. But then again, maybe this has changed recently with the most recent executive team?

Another big minus I see against the company... they only do retail assets.

As @LifeCoMoney said, DDR is off loading a lot of their "non-core" assets. Actually looked at a few of their sites, they've got some decent stuff they're selling if you're willing to sift through some shit here and there.

Aside from that, it's a major firm so I'd expect to be decently restricted in crossing into any realms outside of your core job duties. Without an idea of the job description you'd have or what inspirations you have with real estate.

I've always told people if you can understand a retail lease and how a shopping center works, you can understand any lease. Retail is a lot more difficult in that sense, so it may give you exposure. This exposure could be irrelevant if you're looking to stay on the finance side compared to digging in more from a broad spectrum on real estate.

Lots of turnover at the top and some serious turmoil internally. I have personal knowledge of a ground lease where they blew their 1st option notice with 3 5yr remaining.....10mil flushed down the drain. They then tried to sue and got spanked.....buncha retards lol.

From what I’ve seen, they have a pretty high turnover rate. What was the comp range for that gig?
