Decided last minute to recruit for IB. What's the most efficient way to interview prep?

Hey guys,

I go to a target school (Canadian) and also am spending my summer at a search fund, so I have a fairly decent head start in terms of finance understanding (vs those who started learning from nothing).

I never was going to recruit for IB/PE, however I have been really enjoying my role at the search fund and have been getting more and more into finance this summer and am wanting to recruit. At my school, the majority of OCR happens in early September so I want to spend the rest of this month preparing. I have WSP Premium and BIWS. What would be the most efficient way to interview prep in a month?

Thanks guys!

Breaking into wallstreet guides - hands down best and they explain everything very clearly. Get the full guides not just the questions. Each topic has around 100 pages or so. It starts with accounting and 3 statements and works its way up to LBOs.

Im at a target school with OCR. I have good greats, fantastic EC's, plus I am currently at a search fund. I definitely think I can get interviews once OCR portals open up.

Ok.

I think if you generally know your way around a Balance Sheet, Income Statement, DCFs, financial modeling, valuation, you should be fine.

Also, there could be some questions that explore your problem solving approach to a scenario. There are interview books for these if you want to explore them. Like, how many lightbulbs are in Manhattan? The interviewer wants to see how you approach a problem step by step.
