Decisions, Advice, Commentary, Feedback, Opinions..etc

Hey monkey's, I'd like to get some comments, feedback, opinions on some future options I have for myself. I've asked a similar question before, but this time it's more focused.

Ok, so..

A) I go to Northeastern University -- studying Accounting/Finance
B) Currently on my first 6 month co-op @ State Street Global Advisors
C) I'm going into my middler year (5 yr program), I have 3 years of school left

Ok so..

I think I'm going to drop finance because in order to get good positions you need to go to a top 20 school (i.e. HYPS then Duke, Cornell, etc).

I'll drop finance, focus on accounting (apparently higher level accounting is a bitch and not that easy) try to get a 3.7+ GPA. Do at least one co-op @ a Big 4 firm either in Boston or NY --> Complete a MS of Accounting (To sit for CPA) --> work audit for Big 4 firm --> Obtain CPA --> bonus after completion --> after 3-5 years and senior position --> go to top 20 MBA program or CFA

Then.. I could either go CFA or for Masters w/ concentration in Finance and try to get into PE, IB, Consulting, etc. Or something like working for a company that you audited during your Big 4 time and work your way up the corporate ladder to CFO (for example).

Thoughts? Opinions? What would another monkey in my shoes?

No laughing!! No I'm kidding, I know I posted something VERY similar, but this has a few changes and I wanted to get it the top of the forums for people to see. The more feedback the better.

Time to roll up the sleeves and make things happen.
