Deloitte Consulting & Accenture
I was just on the phone with one the senior consultants there and that person told me that Deloitte Consulting doesn't take straight from undergrad anymore, they only take from their past interns or experienced hires. Is that true?
And does anyone know where is the link to the Accenture Management Consulting Analyst role? Or whatever their entry level consulting role?
.
This is terrible info that you’re getting. I’ve started recently at Deloitte and there is a ton of recruitment for both FT and internship roles. Also I would say at least half, probably more like 3/4 had no prior Deloitte Consulting experience.
I think that they're really pushing this strategy at the MBA level which might be why a Senior Consultant at Deloitte would also push that narrative.
Thats fair. I'm referring to undergraduate recruiting.
From non-target schools as well straight from undergrad? And what is the is the name for the general entry level consulting position like business analyst at McKinsey for example?
It is a Business Analyst at Deloitte also
Don't know much about Deloitte but Accenture does a lot of campus recruiting. The entry level role for management consulting is the CDP (Consultant Development Program). I think you would have no problem getting an interview there.
With that said, many people don't like Accenture for some reason.
I have a handful of friends that joined out of undergrad like this year - they're starting July/Sept timeline.
