Deutsche Bank - What Happened And Where Are They Heading?

Just read an article that Deutsche Bank is seeking an $8.5 billion dollar capital infusion. The bank has posted two years of losses and is attempting to repair their financial condition. After bouncing back from talks of a bail out, the capital infusion may seem somewhat more appealing. This would definitely affect investors though. I also wonder where the bank is heading and if they will be able to recover from all of this. Time will tell what ends up happening to Deutsche.

Deutsche Bank (DB) said it will seek to raise about €8 billion ($8.5 billion) in the coming weeks -- its fourth capital hike since 2010. The four add up to a total of about €30 billion ($32 billion), more than the bank's current market value.

Greed, provincialism, cowardice, unfocused aggression, mania, egoism, immaturity, mendacity, incompetence, weakness, pride, blundering, decadence, arrogance, a need for admiration, naiveté: If you are looking for words that explain the fall of Deutsche Bank, you can choose freely and justifiably from among the above list.

What do you think has caused all of this and where do you think Deutsche is heading?
