Do any single men actually like SF?

I know a bunch of ex-NYC finance people who moved to SF in the past few years to work in a variety of roles at tech firms (e.g. corporate development, business development, strategy, finance). They saw the writing on the wall for NYC finance and believed that tech is the future and moved out west. Every single one of them hates SF with a passion and eager to get out. Are such sentiments common? Is SF really that bad? My thread specifically stated single men since SF seems a lot better for couples.

It's not as bad as people think. The truth is women in SF are some of the most underfucked in the country, and that really falls on the men.

Go to a bar, and the men avoid the women, if they do talk to them it's a nauseating convo about work/startup/who gives a shit etc.

I've met plenty of good looking women from the city, and anytime I have complimented them they were shocked because the simply aren't used to it.

Someone called you Brady in another thread and I thought it was bullshit... but then I saw an SF hate thread. Seattle coming next? Welcome back Brady.

LOL, yes this is the famous Brady4MVP, on his fourth or fifth user name now. He updated us on his recent work history in a post a few months back

"I don't know how to explain to you that you should care about other people."

I know Seattle also suffers from SF's problem (as do other Bay Area cities), however I don't know too much about Austin's social scene, except for 6th street.

I worked there back in '08 and was stunned at how few attractive girls there were. A coworker I would get lunch with would say "girl of the month" any time we saw a good looking girl out on the street and it was legitimately less than once a week.

I've been back for a few visits in recent years and it's getting slightly better, but still pretty bad compared to the rest of the USA.
