Does Ron Paul Care For Americans...

...or just the constition? He says he wants to eliminate only five departments but has openly stated how he's pretty much against all of them as they're "unconstitutional". Now some of these departments protect/help Americans, right? Indisputable? So what does that say about him as a person? Sure, you could say "Oh, he wants to pass these issues on to the states", but he's foolishly trusting the state to do their job and if they DO, wouldn't we one day be talking about "big state govt"? Does religiously following the constitution (night and day = 1787 and 2012?) really help Americans?

People have to remember that no country has a right to exist. Not even the USA.

At the end of the day, I don't want to live in a country filled with socialists but I ACCEPT to do so under certain conditions/rules, i.e. the Constitution.

This document allows people coming from different paths in life to live together.

It is a social contract. If you don't follow it, then it is a breach of contract and we do no have to live together anymore.

Now, if you find Ron Paul too extreme, it means that you find the social contract too extreme. If that is the case, the US is not a country for you and you should leave for another one who fits more with your current values.

America is/was the land of opportunity. It is now becoming the land of oppotunists.

Ron Paul supports American. Unfortunately, most of America doesn't want the freedom that this country was founded on.

Myself, I am 100% fine with that. That is why I am not a Ron Paul fanatic. I love him and love liberty, but I realize that freedom is not for everyone. Ron Paul policy would mean death for a large portion of people. I support this, but realize that there is an easier way to this end.

On a side note, tell your fanatics (because it seems that you have some) to stop throwing monkey shit at me. Just because I said when I grow up I'd want to be like you (human status), I got 6 monkey shit thrown at me.

No, not anymore than taking the Bible literally does. HOWEVER, the Constitution is a whole lot more relevant, so sticking to it for most things is the best course of action. The Constitution, not unlike the Bible, was written in a very different period of history and while still a LOT more relevant than the Bible is still a period piece. Although it's periodically amended and reinterpreted (every 80 years or so) it will eventually need to be completely overhauled...but that's so far in the future that this line of thought is functionally irrelevant.
