I would probably say Duke--> Cornell--->Brown.
Before I get raped with hate from all the Cornell and Brown kids, I really like Cornell (grew up 30 minutes away), but I think Duke and Cornell place people on the street equally well. Cornell has a beautiful campus, but it is in the middle of no where and I think Duke would have a better college experience while still giving you a great shot at recruiting.
Brown can put you on the street, but when people think of IB schools I tend to think that Brown isn't #1. Not to say Brown is a shit school, just saying finance isn't its bread and butter.
This thread unfortunately is going to turn into a hate fest.
I've actually heard really good things about Brown. I've met a couple kids from Brown and they're were really down to earth and smart. AKA the exact opposite of Harvard grads. You wont be at any type of disadvantage, congrats those are some fantastic schools.
Brown would be by far the easiest and most fun. Cornell hotel management school with concentrations in finance, accounting, real estate etc. All place extremely well on the street, but its not going to be that fun. I don't know much about duke
brown is the best if you want prestege
Prestige, huh? They apparently won't bother students regarding their inability to spell correctly.
I can imagine when there are 1000 resumes from Cornell and Duke, then all of a sudden, 1 kid from Brown applying SA. Talk about fucking diversity.
Then when you interview with your brown alum, you can talk about how Brown's "open curriculum" was just an excuse to skip class, drink beer, bang chix (+ points if you fucked Hermione).
Agreed, go to Brown.
One (dis)advantage of Brown is that you can turn essentially anything into a major by taking a few classes in it. The Brown kids in my analyst class said they got grilled on it during their interviews. I know Duke places well but we had a lot of Cornell kids and a few Brown ones in my class. None from Duke. Duke seems like the most fun though. You really can't go wrong here. All of the schools mentioned will get you to the street if that's where you want to be.
Brown or Duke. Cornell is in the middle of fucking nowhere. And curious: how did the Brown kids get grilled about their majors? Did the interviewers make them draw IS/LM graphs or something? lol.
Nothing like that. Just very direct questions about how much they actually learned in their triple French, Macro, and Underwater Basket Weaving majors.
Duke all the way.
