Excel Modeling Interview Questions for a CF Analyst Position

Hi all,

I am a Management Consultant who is trying to pivot into a career in corporate finance. I have my first interview next week and was told there would be technical questions around excel modeling and finance knowledge. My undergrad background is in accounting and finance, so I am confident that after some studying/reviewing I will be able to speak intelligently on finance concepts. My main concern is with the excel modeling. I use excel in consulting, but definitely not to the extent of financial modeling. I know basic pivot tables, lookups and (very basic) macros. What should I look into studying specifically? I was told that the entire company runs on the finance team's models, so I want to make sure I can speak to these models at a some what intelligent level.

Thanks!

PS: I've looked through alot of the WSO templates, but there are just so many I want to know if there is anything specific (Balancesheet ratios/ income statement ratios) that I can focus on.

Thanks!
