Exit Opportunity for MF/Resi Acquisition with a NYC focused GP

I am just wondering if it's likely to move to LP for acquisition/asset management after a few years.

My shop is ~5bn size with a focus of NYC resi/condo/MF. We have a very specific focus/strategy.

I have more interests on the finance side of things over real estate operation/property management.
