Final year undergraduate student, what should I expect from a finance forum hosted by my university?
Hello everyone,
Tomorrow there'll be a finance forum at my university and pretty much all of the big names will have a walk-in stand and organise a corporate presentation. My uni said that there will be recruiters and told the students to bring enough copies of our resumes to leave with the representatives.
However I'm a final year undergraduate student and probably won't have a chance to get a summer internship (there'll be a lot of penultimate year students and Finance Master's students there).
This will be the first time that I attend such an event, what is the best thing that I can get out of it? I'll probably leave a copy of my resume like all the others but what things could I do to make a good impression? What are the things that I could talk about with the representatives? Should I get their names and add them on Linkedin?
And finally, how should I dress?
Thank you for your answers!
