Financial Analyst in FP&A vs. Data Analyst in Compliance

I currently have 2 offers: FP&A (Financial Analyst) and Compliance (Data Analyst)

I have a genuine interest in FP&A. I began my career in Equity Research but I absolutely hated having to cover multiple companies. However, I like thinking about an individual business and industry research. I also am knowledgeable in SQL and Python and although I have zero interest in Compliance, I do want the opportunity to work with SQL, Python and Tableau. I've invested a lot of time learning these skills and I don't want to lose them.

Does anyone here happen to work in data driven compliance? What kind of data do you analyze and what kind of skills do you need? I'm leaning on FP&A right now simply because I think the job is safer from outsourcing than data/tech. Would you agree? Would it be possible to get a Data Analyst position in another department (like FP&A) after gaining SQL experience in the Compliance job?
