Fly for case presentation?
Hey All,
I have a video case interview presentation coming up for a PE interview. I am aware the other candidates will all be presenting their case in person. I have been assured that me presenting via video will not affect my chances. Would ponying up and flying to their city on my own dime provide an advantage? The first couple interviews were phone/video and I feel they would have gone better in person.
Would appreciate any thoughts the community may be able to provide

Always better in person, if you can. You are able to convey your story better, read the room, and signal your desire for the position by going on your own dime. I would expect them to pay for it, but I guess you've crossed that bridge, hence your question. Good luck!
Thanks thats helpful, I figured it would be better I should add I am just evaluating the 1.5 days off current job I'd have to take and around $800 US on flights/hotel vs. the video advantage
