Follow-Up Email After Interview
Just had an on-campus interview with a BB for a summer analyst position. I believe the interview went well and have heard that after an interview sending a follow-up email is good practice. I like the idea of this and got the contact emails of the interviewers.
What is a good idea to include in this type of email? I heard restating some things discussed in the interview such as things you and the interviewers shared in common was always smart. Also are you saying thanks that you got an opportunity to interview?
Any comments and thoughts on this would be appreciated.
-Thanks
Also if i had two interviewers should I write one email addressed to the both of them?
Send separate emails saying thank you and anything you shared in common don't think too Much into it
Write two e-mails. Even if they say the same thing, it looks lazy as hell to write them both at once. Everything else you mentioned is fine

After a round of individual interviews, I am considering to send them a thank you note for taking the time. Two of them gave out their cards before the interview so I guess it could make sense.
What is the best way - any suggestions on what to say? Also, if I got stuck on a case study / technical question is it useful to reiterate that you understand how it works now or just leave it to be?
And yes I know I am asking for suggestions on how to thank someone, but one can go horribly wrong with these ..
Ask if they would like to come out for dinner like that other guy. Just kidding, would definitely send thank you email if you have their email address. Just a simple thanks for taking the time - and would be a good idea to leave a footnote showing you know the answer now albeit it won't hold much weight now. Make it short and sweet.
